Captain Nado's mission is to track down a spy hiding somewhere on Earth. The spy is a Changeling, and his very presence on the planet threatens the Federation's fragile new peace with the Dominion.

Then a city in Russia goes missing. HQ says it's probably just a computer glitch, but they'll check it out. Then more cities disappear. Chicago. Edinburgh. Seoul . . . and the "Changeling spy" turns out to be nothing but a lost man trying to find his way home.
